Purchase Contract

Every Azurine kitten placement is accompanied by a written contract signed by both the breeder and the adopting family. A summary of standard terms follows; the full contract is sent for review prior to deposit.

1. Deposit & Reservation

A $500 non-refundable deposit secures placement on a specific kitten or upcoming litter. Deposits transfer to a future litter if a chosen kitten is unsuitable.

2. Balance & Payment

Remaining balance is due in cleared funds 7 days before the agreed pickup or delivery date. Accepted methods: wire transfer, certified check, or escrow.

3. Transfer of Ownership

Kittens transfer to the new family at no earlier than 12 weeks of age, fully weaned, FVRCP vaccinated, microchipped, and with veterinary clearance. TICA/CFA registration papers transfer within 30 days of final spay/neuter confirmation.

4. Spay/Neuter Requirement

All pet-quality kittens must be spayed or neutered between 5–8 months of age. Breeding rights are sold separately under a distinct contract.

5. Lifetime Return Policy

If at any point in the cat's life you cannot keep your Azurine cat, you agree to return it to Azurine rather than rehome or surrender it elsewhere.

6. No-Declaw Clause

Declawing voids the health guarantee and constitutes breach of contract.
